It’s been a while since our last update to eForm. Today we are proud to announce that eForm Version 4.2 has been released. This release has 3 new features, 2 enhancements and 4 bug fixes.

Offline Payment Gateway Integration

This has been one of the most requested feature. With eForm version 4.2 you can implement it just like any other payment gateway. We understand there are many possibilities of offline payment. For example, Cash On Delivery, Bank Transfer, Money Transfer, Cheque Delivery, Demand Draft etc. So instead of going through the hoops of implementing one gateway for every possibilities, we leave it upto you to instruct your users on how to transfer the money.

Integration with MailWizz

Very recently we were contacted by the author of the awesome MailWizz Email Marketing Application. It is a standalone PHP application for sending and managing email newsletter and campaigns etc. Now with eForm, you are just a click away from subscribing your users to MailWizz.

Goodbye mcrypt

It was long overdue to retire mcrypt from eForm. After much rewrite of the codebase, we have successfully retired mcrypt from the system. For new installation, eForm will never use mcrypt. For existing installation, eForm will gracefully use mcrypt (if available) to decode older trackback links. In any case, eForm now generates better trackback links with faster lookup.

Native Upload for File Uploader

Our file uploader just got better. We now have option to natively use mobile camera for video, image and audio capture when available. Just head over to our knowledgebase article to learn how.

Support New Stripe API for Subscription

Very recently Stripe has changed how Plans are handled for subscription. Now similar plans can be grouped under products and eForm v4.2 leverages this to a great extent. For dynamic plans, one product will be created per form and every dynamic plan per submission will be grouped under the same product. Please read here for the update.

Bug fixes

Apart from the new features eForm has undergone several bug fixes.

• Full Name Element now plays nice with “Everything” set as validation filter.
• User Portal and Leaderboard responsiveness issue has been fixed.
• Math element with hidden label and fancy appearance now works good.
• Sortable list icons now appear in the summary table.
